Get Treatment Today with Drug Rehab
Addiction is an awful, miserable disease to have to live with, whether you are afflicted with a dependency to drugs and/or alcohol, or who have loved ones that suffer from dependency. The rehabilitation process, or rehab, can help addicts come to understand their dependency, learn how to identify and avoid triggers that cause them to use drugs or alcohol, and learn to continue living as a recovering addict. Drug Rehab offers a wholesome, compassionate environment for addicts who want to begin recovering from the abuse of drugs and alcohol, and creates individualized, custom treatment plans to meet the physical, psychological, social, medical, vocational, and emotional requirements of each client. We service for Ohio, come to us if you need help.
What Do We Do?
For addicts who don’t realize that their dependency to drugs and alcohol is an issue, or for those who oppose treatment, the first step towards recovery is usually an intervention. An intervention is an structured, pre-arranged meeting during which the addict’s friends, family, and loved ones come together to confront the addict regarding their drug and/or alcohol use, present the addict with examples of how they’ve harmed themselves or others, and to urge them to enter a rehab program. We support using a qualified interventionist to plan an effective intervention. An intervention is NOT the same as rehabilitation, and won’t prevent an addict from abusing drugs and/or alcohol. When followed up immediately by treatment, interventions are efficient, powerful tools for helping loved ones.
Many, although not all, addicts have to preface rehabilitation with a period of detox. Detox, or detoxification, is a medically supervised procedure intended to moderate some of the worst symptoms of withdrawal. For many addicts, this procedure will require specific medications, or an IV for hydration and nutrition. For people who are hooked on alcohol, opiates, and a few other kinds of substances, medical detox is a necessary part of rehabilitation, because withdrawal from these substances can actually be deadly without clinical supervision. Though some people think that they can quit “cold turkey,” in many circumstances this isn’t a good idea, and might even be fatal. And while detox can help an addict withdraw physically from drugs and alcohol, it is not an end to addiction – because detox is NOT rehabilitation.
For people at all stages of addiction, whether they’ve only started using or if they have a long-term habit of drug or alcohol abuse, Drug Rehab OH can provide safe, efficient recovery. Their rehabilitation programs include, but aren’t limited to, treatment for alcohol, opiates (heroin, codeine), prescription drugs (pharmaceuticals, hydrocodone, oxycodone), designer drugs (bath salts, many stimulants), crystal meth, cocaine, hallucinogens, and marijuana. By evaluating the nature of dependency, identifying contributing psychological factors (like co-occurring disorders), and developing the most effective treatment plans for each client, Drug Rehab OH offers the most powerful, effective rehabilitation program available.
